What is a mentor?
A mentor is an experience trusted advisor who wants to have a positive impact on a young adult’s life. Mentors will guide and help mentee develop valuable knowledge in order to grow personally and professionally.
Why mentor?
Mentors contributes critical support and guidance. Being a mentor gives you the extraordinary opportunity to transform a student in personal and professional growth by sharing knowledge you learned throughout the years of experience.

Mentor responsibilities:
- Attend mentor orientation and take training sessions
- Mentors should meet with intern weekly and meet face to face monthly to hear out and advise them. Additional contact by phone or e-mail is also allowed, as needed.
- Focus attention on the student’s achievement plan
- Communicate weekly with mentor coordinator
- Mentors should report to the Team of Interns or Senior Staff immediately if they think some specific issues should be addressed on a higher level
- Attend program ceremonies
