Curriculum for the Master of Science (MS) in Nursing & Interprofessional Leadership

 

Nursing leaders will play a pivotal role in the future of nursing.

The coursework and practica is designed to give you the skills to develop experience and knowledge to navigate the complexities of the healthcare system within an interprofessional clinical and non-clinical environment to address gaps and healthcare inequities within a relationship-based care model

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) to MS

The BSN to MS pathway is designed for registered nurses who have completed a BSN from an accredited institution and wish to earn their Master of Science in Nursing and Interprofessional Leadership. This pathway is ideal for growing and experienced nurses who aspire to learn more about their options for career advancement.

Pre-Graduate Option (PGO) to MS

 

The PGO to MS pathway is for registered nurses with a bachelor's degree in a non-nursing field who wish to earn their Master of Science in Nursing and Interprofessional Leadership.

The PGO to MS curriculum includes two additional courses (4 credits) taken during the summer prior to fall semester, to ensure all students are well-prepared to succeed in their graduate nursing studies and professional careers.
