Elective Description: To improve one's diagnostic, therapeutic, and patient relationship skills and at the same time build one's confidence in his/her ability to function as a physician in a ward medicine setting. UMass Students can do this in addition to ... but not in place of their 'Required Sub/Medicine' Clerkship {ME-301}.
Note: Offered to UMass and 'Visiting' Medical Students. Umass Students: 'Satisfactory' completion of the 3rd Year Medicine Clerkship and Students should not schedule this course in the same time period you are planning on doing ACLS, UMSLE Board Exam, or Residency Interviews. Visiting Students: To enroll in this couse, you must show documentation of the completion of the Medicine Clerkship at your home institution.
