About Us

CUIDAMOS is a research group within the Department of Population and Qualitative Health Sciences, Division of Epidemiology at UMASS Chan Medical School. Our research focuses on:

• Addressing disparities in cancer outcomes
• Investigating the influence of multiple chronic conditions on cancer screening and treatment decisions among underserved populations
• Integrating quantitative and qualitative methods
• Utilizing cancer registry data merged with claims data and publicly available datasets

In addition, we are dedicated to continuing our own learning journey and training the next generation of scientists to conduct innovative, clinically relevant research.
